Ring Brothers Door and Hood Hinges

Thinking about picking these up for my 73, are they worth the money? They look overbuilt which appeals to me but not sure if they are worth the jump money wise. Would appreciate feedback from those who have used them. TIA

I've been extremely happy with the hood hinges. Broke down and got them when a reproduction hinge failed on me. I always thought they were excessive until I actually experienced how well they work.

I bought these for the trunk and hood hinges. The hood hinges I took apart and had them powder coated black, cost $25. Both work very well! They are only problematic if you don’t have a steel hood or steel trunk. In my case I have a fiberglass hood so the shocks were way to stiff, I had to source billet shocks that were softer. But I see no advantage to these generic brand hinges over $500 ring brothers.
