      "Baba Yaga" 1984 Chevy C10

Well, I broke down and finally joined the pro-touring.com forum!
Many probably have seen the truck at local/national events including the Pro Touring Truck shootout, optima Ultimate Street Car, Goodguys and Sema!
The truck initially started out as a shop truck that we used to carry scrap aluminum and titanium to the recyclers. After finishing "Buck" my 1973 C10 that is finished in HOK candy paint and auto crossing it a few times I realized that I was going to get injured eventually as race cars/trucks do.

We stripped her down, cleaned her up and got to work. We opted to use No Limit Engineering's front IFS kit, with Hyperco springs and Fox Shocks.
The 427 LS is built by Wegner Automotive up in Wisconsin, paired up to a T56Magnum and uses a Dailey Dry sump system (blew up the first wet sump motor at Road America about 3 months after getting the truck complete) it's currently making 633WHP on pump gas.

The original frame is still intact, however we have boxed it in and built a full cage because, ya know I don't want to die.
Of course I had to splurge and go with Forgeline wheels and Wilwood brakes. We then built a custom bed floor, cover and custom wheel tubes out of Carbon Fiber.

      Wow, what a truck.
You definitely need to post more detailed shots of the build or of the finished product. It looks incredible and must be a blast.

Love the truck. Been following along on Instagram. Been a motivation to get off my butt and get to work, or should start ordering parts for mine.

The race truck is getting faster and faster. We just got back from the OUSCA Event at the beautiful Atlanta Motorsports Park track. I ended up taking home 1st place in the new GTT class and an invite to the OUSCI finals in Vegas.

We're back but this time at Utah Motorsports Complex. The weekend started off great, the truck has been pretty happy overall with the recent modifications.
One of the biggest improvements made to the truck over this year has been the pedal box. Switching from an inverted pedal setup to a floor mount set up from Wilwood has drastically improved my lap times and overall comfort in the truck on the track. When we made this change we had to end up moving the firewall forward for leg room and notched into the frame. No worries though, we boxed the frame back in.

Anyway, this video covers each aspect of the optima Ultimate Street Car event, including Autocross, speedstop, Design & Engineering, road rally & Road Course action. If you're liking the coverage hit the subscribe button, and comment on what else you'd like to see from us!

Looking nice, I like your choice of wheels. I've noticed that a lot of vehicles nowadays have a bronze rim. I believe I've seen this model on 4WheelOnline before, but I don't remember the make.

Nice effect, the truck looks like it's floating. It's obvious that those 4 jack stands are what's holding it up, but at the same time it looks like it's hovering there.

I've always loved those squarebodies. Really miss my 79 GMC.
