      Hyperspark or Dualspark?

Holley has 2 distributers for their Sniper EFI. I’m ready to upgrade my distributor but I don’t know which distributor would be better, any advice?

With a Sniper there is no reason to run the DualSync.

With the Sniper system, you are better off with a Sniper distributor, Sniper square coil, and the HyperSpark ignition box. That combination of parts works very well together.

When you do the wiring, I strongly recommend following my advice here:

If I can be of service with the tuning, please let me know.

Thats the advice I was looking for, will there be a big difference in performance? Im running a 350 with a mild Crane cam but would like to upgrade for more performance. I’m thinking aluminum heads and possibly cam but I’ll be seeking advice on that. I’m sure I’ll be contacting you Andrew, thanks!

It's not really a matter of performance. The dual synch is designed for sequential injection where a cam signal is needed. The Sniper is a throttle body system, so all you need is a crank signal.

Right now I’m running a GM HEI and lately it’s been a little hard starting. When the fuel pump stops, I start the motor and it always fired right up. Lately it’s been taking a few cycles before it starts so I’m thinking it’s ignition.

My question will the Hyperspark really make a noticeable difference in performance? I don’t mind spending the extra money but not if the performance doesn’t change much
