12-30-2005 #5I have a twin turbo big block vette with a 750 holley that I modified for blow through. I would love to have efi but dont have the funds right now so I took the cheap route. There are several companys that will build your old carb or sell you a new one ready to run. Mine works fine and I spent under a hundred bucks and a few hours time doing it.
Turbos, 1700.00
Hot Side, 1500.00
Cold Side, 1,000.00
Fuel System, 1,000.00
The look on the face of whomever the passenger is when the tires break loose at o say 70 mph or so........priceless
12-30-2005 #6I am probably going to go TT and AED offers a cool blow-thru carb that is like ~400 on eBay. Granted, its not going to be good as a $900+ from CSU, but unless you are hunting for every last horsepower (from what I hear anyway) a modified carb should be just fine.
01-01-2006 #7check out CSU they are the blow through experts my buddy has one on his 67 nova big block blow through setup it is very docile on the street and runs low 9's at the track
