      1967 Camaro RS/SS Vert | RS Spec Chassis | Wegner LS7 | Pro Touring

      Hi Guys,

Been meaning to get this up here for awhile, but here's my 1967 RS/SS Camaro Vert pro touring build. This has been a dream car of mine since I was a kid and have been spending way too much time watching the autocross/racing world from the sidelines so had to finally track down and build this car up. It was a perfectly good running car (Texas Car), which everything worked in besides the horn, and started to tear it down about 6 months ago to start the build. I've done all the breakdown and metal prep work in my 1 car garage here in Austin. Working with CHRA in Andice/Georgetown to help with the re-assembly. Michael Kaiser who runs the place has been great to work with. I'll outline the build below

      Chassis
RS Spec Chassis with all goodies

      Engine & Drivetrain
Fully Built LS7 for Wegner Motorsports (Casey is a solid dude)
      Ultimate headers
      Holley ECU
      C&R Radiator
Bowler prepped T56 Magnum (Thanks Craig)
      Tilton Hydraulic Clutch
Ricks custom tank with ZL1 Pump
      Stainless works mufflers/custom building exhaust

      Wheels & Brakes
      Wilwood Superlite (6R F/ 4R R) in Competition Orange
      Forgeline TBD

      Electrical
      Vintage Air
      American Autowire Kit
      Raingear Kit
      Retro Electric Headlight Kit
      Trucklights LEDs headlights

      Interior
      Holley Pro Dash 12.3
      Wild Rides 4130 6pt cage
      Recaro Pole Positions
      Momo Wheel
      Ididit race column/quick release
      Tilton pedal assembly
      C6 pedal dbw
      Lokar handles
      DSE battery Relo

      Body
      DSE Minitubs
      DSE Fuel door
      Bowler trans tunnel
      Anvil Carbon Inner Fronts
      Anvil Carbon rear bumper
      Anvil Wicker Bill
Trackspec DropIn Vents for SS hood

      Other bits
Totally Stainless/ARP hardware in most places
      Ringbros hinges/mirrors/Hood bumps
      DSE Fender Braces
      Anvil door strikers

Hoping to have it back on the road in a couple weeks!

Long overdue update here. Car is coming along nicely with the help of CHRA on some finish out fab work. Michael and the team there are A+ and awesome to work with. Going to add updates out of order but here is some of the buildout on putting a Holley 12.3 Digital dash in a 67. Haven't seen this done (Seen Franks badass ones for 69's) before but the current progress is looking awesome!Name: IMG_6889.jpg

Few more shots of some of the metalwork. I did the tunnel, firewall, wiper motor. CHRA did the tubs and fuel door.

Did you use the fuel tank from Roadster shop? If so have you worked out your fuel tank vent setup? Trying to figure out what to do with mine.

What kind room you got between your wenger accessories drive and the c and r radiator and fan lot? I've got the C and R, but not yet Installed and I'm about to either do Holley MidMount but preferred is the Wenger. Just want to make sure I have enough room for the Wenger Drive
Your build is looking superb. I'm a similar setup, LS7, Speedtech front and rear, C and R, vintage AAW etc.

Plenty of room Jason- I'll see if I can get it measured for you next week but you should be good.

I have the Double Pass Radiator with Module LS 13 Plate w/EOC PSC w/Dual 11″ Spal Fans as an FYI.

I'm pretty sure roadster shop sources their tanks from Ricks here in TX. I went to them direct and told them my config and they guided me through everything.

      Here's the config for reference/part #:

      Stainless tank for
      1967-1968 Camaro on
      RS spec chassis.
      Straps. Sending unit
      90 ohms. vaporworx
      with Camaro ZL-1
      pump.

      070810 1967/1968 GM F Body
      stainless steel tank
      with Vapor Series and
      Camaro ZL-1 pump

      100091 Rick's 6.50" tube style
      fuel level sending unit.

      Few updates on the interior.

Custom door panels with race tech door pulls and lokar (not pictured) bits.

Need to decide on bead rolling and/or punching some holes in it. Rear panels look awesome!

Thank you. I was just looking for how you planned to do the vent line. I have a 3/8' NPT thread where the vent will originate from. I cobbled something together and made my own filter and a rollover valve on the end. Just curious what more clever people have come up with.
