      Tank vent question

      Good evening,

I'm in the process of converting a tanks inc tank to be used with a zl1 fuel module. I am using a Rick's weld in adapter. When I cut the tank for the Rick's piece, I had to cut off the vent. My question is can I weld a new vent nipple on the filler neck to vent the tank? Thank you.

One on the filler neck is good, but it can be hard to fill the tank without a second port located on the tank itself. I’d ask the manufacturer for guidance.

Thank you. I tried calling tanks inc today and they were at lunch. I'll try again tomorrow.

Since you’re welding in the Ricks adapter, is there enough room on the adapter plate to weld a 90 deg nipple to use as a vent?
