Billet specialties thermostat housing restriction
Just received my billet specialties billet 90 degree thermostat housing for a BBC. I was terribly disappointed to see the major restriction inside of it. Before it makes the 90 degree turn it tapers down to about a 1" hole! Anyone use one of these? Think it will give me any problems? Thanks in advance. And Happy Easter!

I haven't ever really had any issues with their housing, and if you think about it the hole in the middle of the thermostat isn't really much larger than that so with a fully opened thermostat you are flowing that diameter and not the full diameter of the thermostat itself. I have seen some housings reduced down in neck size to fit certain hose ID.
