BBC and 4L80E Adapter

I was told that I needed a special flexplate and adapter to install a late model 4L80E transmission behind my BBC 2 piece rear main. After searching the net and calling a couple of performance transmission and including Scoggins Chevrolet, this is what I come up. Summit racing has a video explaining it. Hope this helps as the early models had some 4L80E's that would bolt to a 350 small block.
