How can I get smaller brakes w/ATS spindles

I have an 87 Buick Grand National that I'd really like to run with the 16" GTA front wheels all around, but I'd also like to go with speedtech ATS tall spindles https://speedtechperformance.com/pro...tall-spindles/ to get better handling but they use C7 hubs with C5/C6 brake mounting bosses. Anyway to get something like the LS1 brake swap to work? I know there are 18" versions of this wheel, but I don't like the way they look.

I think it also comes down to the spindle not physically fitting inside a 16" wheel, not just smaller brakes. I have not found a "minimum" wheel size for the spindle. I know drop spindles for newer vehicles mention minimum wheel size.
