      LS427/570 injector specs...

I'm being asked to identify the injector specification on the LS427/570 as EV1 or EV6 so that I can match it up with the right controller. I do not know what they are. I called up the distributor. They couldn't identify them and forwarded me to Chevrolet Performance directly. I called them up and they flat out told me they weren't going to tell me because they have a policy not releasing that information. They said they would forward my question directly to engineering, but that I "shouldn't hold my breath." Was kinda taken back by that.

Anyway, can anyone tell me if the injectors on an LS427/570 are EV1 or EV6?

      Thanks.

EV1 injectors have a metal body and are about 1.25" in diameter. EV6 injectors are entirely plastic.

They are often interchangeable if there are no clearance issues with other components.

      Thank you. This is helpful.

Here's a picture. It appears to look like neither of those with a bit of plastic and metal going on, so I'm a bit lost. What do you guys think?

      Those are EV6 aka USCAR.

You should look at the Holley Terminator X Max ECU and harness kit. I would love to tune that 427/570 horse engine! The Holley EFI will give you a lot of flexibility for various systems, like cooling fans, etc...

This would be the kit for your engine:

Thanks, Andrew! Yeah, I was gonna grab that Terminator X Max. They just wanted to verify the injectors before I placed the order. You're more than welcomed to come by and tune it when it time! I know diddly squat about it so far, but I'm expecting to wrap my head around it when it's time.

Off topic, why choose the Terminator X Max over the Dominator?

To my surprise, and if you have an interest in the response, I just got an email from someone over at GM. Here's what they said...
12576341 - INJECTOR ASM,SEQ M/PORT (injector flow for injector part number 12576341 is 38 lbs per hour and injector part number flow is 51.72 psi per hour)

I do tuning remotely, so geography doesn't matter. When you are ready to discuss wiring and other aspects that might have anything to do with the Holley EFI, just let me know. You can email me directly:

The Dominator is certainly more capable, but for what you are doing, it is unnecessary.

Might disagree on the injector style. It looks like an EV14 compact, which is a common LS application.

Do those have the same connectors as USCAR? It's a GM crate engine.
