Hi from South Louisiana
Hello everyone. My name is Eric and I live in South Louisiana, not too far from New Orleans. I have a 1968 firebird thats been in the works for as long as I can remember. And by "in the works", I mean sitting and collecting dust and rust while I day dream about being able to crank it up and go for a cruise. Well, I'm finally at a point where I have the space and resources to start fixing it up. Since I'm a newbie to this whole restoration thing, I'm hoping I can find some good advice or tips when I start running into issues.

Thanks guys. Attached are a couple of pictures of my car when I got it home. Hopefully they come through. It’s pretty much completely disassembled now to do some rust repair. I’ll get a build thread going once I make a little progress, hopefully in the next week or so.
