F/S: Used original GM G-Body Saginaw 800 Sport Steering gear
For Sale: Nice used and super desirable OEM Saginaw 800 series power steering gear box for G-Body cars - Monte Carlo El Camino Regal Grand National and T-Type Olds 442. This unit came off my '87 Grand National many years ago, and I no longer need it. This box is the 7812145 model that has the fast 12.7:1 steering ratio, and has three mounting lug ears, not four. It is in good condition and cleaned up well. I live in Northern California, so this box has no rust/corrosion issues, and my car has never been hit, so everything is straight. The box does not have a Pittman arm to go with it. What you see is what you'll get. Asking $160 shipped to your door in the lower 48 United States. Thanks for looking!

Sorry it took me a bit to reply. I keep a maintenance log for this car, and had to look up when I did the change out ... The box has more miles on it than I remembered ... I changed out the box for an AGR unit in Jan 2001, and the car had 148,600 miles on it. Having said that, the steering system was flushed out once by the dealer at 75,000 miles as part of my preventative maintenance routine at the time ... The box has been sitting in my garage in the AGR shipping box since 2001 ...
Sincerely,
