      Pilot bearing for T56...

I have a T56 that I'm currently mating with an LS7 (LS427). I was told the pilot bearing that came with the LS7 was for the TR6060 and wasn't going to work with the T56 and that I needed to order a different pilot bearing (part #14061685). I did that. I'm looking at the new bearing vs the old one and not seeing how it replaces it. Seem like the diameters are drastically different. Pics for reference. What's going on here? What am I not seeing or doing properly?
