Rear inside tire clearance vs. exhaust

I tried a search on here and online but there doesn't seem to be a consensus. My math says the rear exhaust tubing that's going to run by the inside of the rear tires will be close. Maybe 1/4" at the closest point. Motorcycle and off-road guys don't seem to be concerned and talk about the tire moving enough even in traffic.

Only way I think more clearance would be possible on my setup would be to get that fuel tank with the angled front corners. Just got a new stock tank though. :(

What do you guys think is a safe clearance before any heat damages/degrades a tire?

Interested in this as well. My assembly manual shows a dual exhaust option that runs just under the frame at the rear of the wheel well and back up into the body. Great for 6" wide tires but I used all that space for wide tires and will have much tighter clearances for exhaust.
