      Radiator Core Support Schematic

Doing a swap to LS3 and already purchased a rad with fan. Would like to make an aluminum support as the original isn't wide enough for the new rad. My original has been smashed at the bottom so I don't want to use it to get critical measurements. Does anyone happen to have the dimensions for this?

I saw something this morning that was interesting for ideas. Google Rhoades core support. Tubular that looked pretty easy to make

That Rhodes Custom Auto core support is a nice piece.

Here are the measurements of the one from AutoRad, which currently closed shop and supposedly Cold Case is taking over their production...

I am about 3/4 complete with this, I'm also machining clutch and brake pedals and shifter. Hopefully this weekend I'll have the core support complete. Thanks again John.

My core support is nearing completion. I have to install the frame mount and fender mount brackets yet. Let me start by saying I am not a master fabricator. Sometimes you have to look at a project and decide if you are better off spending the money on just buying it rather than making it.Name: TCKV3046.jpg

Size: 291.6 KB I started by having one of my designers transfer my scribblings to a solidworks sketch. He changed my numbers because he thought they would be better. Thus the welds in the middle where I had to narrow it and shorten it. Never start fabbing something without checking your measurements!

Made brackets for frame mount and fender mount. Frame mounts seem a little big, likely machine them down a bit.
