Nick Williams TB Internals and base tune Holley Term X Max

Lets see if Im asking this correctly, when using the Nick Williams TB on a Holley Terminator X Max which TB should be selected from the drop down for initial base tune? I was told LS3 but does anyone know the number sequence? Thank you

Whichever TB the engine is supposed to have from GM. I'm using a NW102 on my LSA, so I used the factory ZL1 part number. It's going to take some adjusting of the actual TB table to get it to idle down too FYI.

If I am using the Holley sniper intake on a brand new engine build, is there a factory TB? For example, I am building a LS7 from scratch

Which NW throttle body are you using, exactly?

Right on! we're going to make a dyno pull tomorrow using the NW103 and a stock GM 92mm and see if theres any significant power gains. Once the engine is in the car, I'll be reaching out to you for a tune.

      Sounds good!

Looking forward to the results. I suspect you will see some gains, but probably not more than 10hp

If the power gains are minimal, would you recommend the 92mm over the 103mm for drivability? Its a DBW set up so I think I read it's a little more streetable then a cable driven TB...

It's an expensive TB, so if the gains are minimal, I'd sell it and use a stock TB. The dyno tuning will help. Presumably whoever is doing it will optimize the spark table...At least at WOT.

You may want to watch this video.

This is the shop I got my package from. They'll be the ones to tune it also.

that’s cool +51hp/40tq is solid gains. I’d imagine a lot of this stuff is application specific. I’ll post my dyno numbers tomorrow with both TB’s. Thanks for sharing.
