If you’re suggesting sending men with weapons of war to take my weapons of war, then I’m fairly certain that’s what’s called an act of war… and the definition of tyranny.which coincidentally is the reason for the second amendment to begin with!

Nice setup. Unusual to see a overflow tank with a sight glass on it. How do you plumb it up with two barb fittings?

the bottom barb fitting is the in from the radiator the top is the overflow. Not sure how well that sight tube will hold up, but I can always cap it off.

I have a original dash pad if that’s what you are talking about, it needs some repairs but is useable.
the metal parts of the dash will be painted probably black.
      thank you sir.

Working on the 69 Elcamino project
Seams like everything I want to finish up on I wind up have to order more parts
Started trying to finish up the A/C lines and I have plenty of fitting, just not the one I need. I got all hooked up but one. A # 10 90% fitting and it will be Tuesday before I can go to the hydraulic store to get it .
So I move on to the brakes started putting everything together so I could bleed them out , well I got it all put together but one banjo bolt for the front calipers.
I got the new ignition key cylinder in and installed though.
      Little here little their.Name: F1CE4467-E218-4E9E-AA38-2DCD6B46A914.jpg

Got the nasty work done this morning!
Sandblasted the back side of my beat up bumpers then epoxy primed them,
Blasted the bumper brackets last night in the connex trailer where my homemade blasting cabinet is at.
Put 3 coats of epoxy on them all.Name: D9B44DB3-DFF2-46AE-826B-5452C2914A4B.jpg

That's a cool idea doing epoxy on the back side of the bumpers. They look awesome. I may do that with my blazer and maybe even do the bed liner on top of the epoxy

Another piece of the puzzle done.
I had made a different cover that was raised about an inch, but the more I looked at it the more I didn’t like it. So I made this one.
Serviceability is one of my pet peeves
, when I’m building a car from scratch or customizing one . I always look at it from the standpoint is it serviceable without taking half of the car apart.Name: D3DEFF58-E8B9-4B44-8F31-73CBC57661A7.jpg

That's my style. The logistics of maintenance are an important part of any build. If we can avoid the multiple steps for disassembly, it's nice.

you know we would never beat the crap out of a car and brake it I really plan to drive this thing everywhere. So I’m trying to make it as easy to repair as possible.

Got busy this morning epoxy primed the dash, then I finished wrapping the exhaust tubing an painted it with the DEI black silicone paint.
Then I installed the exhaust tubing back in the car!
