Look forward to following the build. I am also in the market for a roadster shop chassis!

When I was in high school, I worked at a body shop as a painter after school. When that design of truck came out. it had a disc brake warning sticker on the tailgate. The factory lime gold was a similar color as to what you have chosen. I painted something on one of those trucks in that color. That was one of the 1st I painted. I'm waiting for the driving impression after completion.

That is bad ass! Are the rockers a slightly different shade, or is it just the light?

Lots of things to love about this build but I have inquiry of two of them I may incorporate into my own truck...

I like the hoops on the harness bar to raise the harness mount point to the correct position rather than having the cross bar across the back glass. Are you a tall guy? What seats are you planning to run?

I am trying to follow the function of the intake air box. I see two filters. Are there two inlets to the box?

I am trying to follow the function of the intake air box. I see two filters. Are there two inlets to the box? The box has an opening at the core support and one in the bottom that is cut into the inner fender. It then has a second box following the curve of the bottom of the inner fender that opens up on at below the bumper. Creates an air horn.

I looked back at some earlier pics and see the huge hole in the inner fender. That should provide plenty ambient air to the Whipple. I am curious why two inlets in the box though, guessing filter surface area needed for required CFM?

I do applaud the craftsman ship and ingenuity.

Yep, just trying to get as much air as possible. Trying to create velocity through the tapered inlet pipe connecting the box to the supercharger snout.
