      Here we go

      Happy Holidays:

New to the group. Getting ready to start my first build.

I just bought a 1968 Firebird Convertible with no engine. My goal, at this point, is to build an awesome driving car that I could autocross now and then. It will have modern suspension, modern brakes, a modern interior with an LS and a t-56.

Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the skill to restore a car as so many others do.

Nobody else here did either, until they jumped in and started doing it. Welcome. Might I recommend that you start with getting the driver's seat resprung as you're sitting pretty low in the seat there. That's a very sharp car, and if you're going to go with red that's the red to use.
