Project Poor. ('79 Impala Sports Coupe)

Been working on the ****box on and off for some years now.
after placing fenders, doors, hood, head panel, bumpers, welding in lower quarters.
      Replaced and dyed interior black.
Finally getting to the fun stuff.
Sitting on Viking Coilovers, UMI upper and lower cars, Hotchkiss sway bars. 15" centerlines?
Currently building an LM7 with a carb, backed with a TH350 for the time being to replace the inline 250.

(Pic is from when the brake line ruptured, on the way how from work)

Think it might end up going to the machine shop for a little massaging.

Love the Aerocoupes. This will be a cool build to follow.

Thanks, One thing is for sure. It was a royal PITA to find parts for. Looking at YearOne and Classic Industries ended up as uh oh hotdog. Took two years to find a set of doors.
First guy in AZ wanted 900.00 for a gutted pair, then another 900.00 for shipping to PA. lol
Ended up finding a pair for 280.00 shipped (Grayhound) from Cali.

Just a hint of one of the one off pieces that being worked right now.
Just have to stud and bolt it to the deck lid. Three other things are planned for the exterior.
And another two for the interior.

Far cry from what it started off as.
The Impala header panel took a hit from a deer. So I went with the Caprice header panel. Which gave me the staggered headlight buckets.
