8.5 Wheel on Front 68 Camaro

Can an 8.5 wheel work a stock 67-68 Camaro for the front? If so - what tire size would work? 235 fit?

It might work if it has 5” backspacing. 235-245 tire can fit depending on ride height, camber etc.

Don sounds about right but if all you want is a 235, an 8” with 4.5” bs wheel is fine. That is what I have on my 68 and it’s great.

Thanks for the feedback - was thinking also that with a larger BS - might work - but for a 235 probably an 8 in wheel is the best opinion. Guess will look at other wheels than what I was looking at.
