67-68 Camaro EFI Fuel Tank with 5th Gen Fuel Assembly Vaporworx Converted

      Hey PT,

I'm changing up my car this winter and in planning for future upgrades like a mini-tub I decided to swap out my stock tank that I modified to accept a 5th gen fuel pump. The tank has a recess welded in with a fuel pump ring that I modified to sit on top that allows for a stock 5th Gen Camaro fuel pump assembly to be installed. I'm also including the fuel pump assembly which is out of a 2011 Camaro SS which has been converted to run at a constant 58psi by a kit from vaporworx. What is amazing about this setup is that there is one fuel line from the fuel pump to the fuel rail. No return lines as it will return fuel internally back into the fuel bucket. So the bucket is always full and ready for whatever you want to do.

I used this exact setup for the last 3 years on my car and put over 2k miles with zero issues. I have done lots of spirited driving and one AutoX event with ZERO fuel starvation issues. It is a really great pump, and from what I understand is the equivalent of a 255 LPH pump, which I believe will support around 500 HP N/A. It does have a slight fuel leak around the base, but should be an easy fix. I believe it is between the adapter ring I made and the tank. Probably just need to remove it and add more sealant.

My only reason for selling is that I am going with Rick's Restomod Tank, Vaporworx pwm and a Livernoise Firestorm fuel pump assembly.

I'm asking $325 plus shipping. Shipping has gone up, but It's not super heavy so it shouldn't be too bad.

      Thanks,
      Ryan

If anyone is doing a LS swap, this is by far the best option for a fuel system!

No return line. No Corvette filter/regulator. One line from the pump to the fuel rail, and it internally returns fuel into the bucket always keeping it full.
