Dammit you just cost me money. That's a good price.

My friend has the same one, he loves it. He gets his 79 camaro and his 02 camaro up on it.

I know each side ways close to 100lbs. Idk if I really want to be lugging em around much, especially with enough junk I got laying around in my garage. Also, don’t the bottoms get all scratched up?

Looks like there's rubber stands you can place where desired, so it doesn't actually rest directly along the entire length metal to metal.

I just haven't been sure if the 5,000lb SLX would work on my Chevelle's lift points with all the "sample" cars they show on it's ad pictures.

Anyone using their EXT model or is this one just fine?

Would anyone suggest any additional accessories other than the ones in the COSTCO bundle (four pinch weld blocks and hangers)?

There's a lot of adjustability in the design. The smallest car I've lifted was a Chevy Sonic and the largest was the wife's Flex and my F150 with my 69 Cougar and 60 Parkwood in between. Like anything you'd lift your car with you'd take the time to get it in the right spots.

I love them based on time saving alone. I had to do the summer to winter tire swap for the whole family recently and did five cars in the space of 90 minutes. As far as accessories they should come with both size rubber blocks. The pinch weld blocks are only the regular blocks with a groove. The regular ones have some give so I would save the money there. As far as the wall hanger I wouldn't know, other than they are HEAVY so I prefer to leave them laying on the floor. They can't fall or slip from your hands if they're already laying down.

Do you guys think the 5000 pound version is good enough for a 4000 pound car? Enough safety margin?

Presumably a well engineered product would have substantial margin. I would expect 20-50%.

That being said if the 7000 pound version is only a couple of hundred more I personally would spend the extra money.

I was just going to touch on that myself. The lower LB rating would be fine for any hobby cars I have but I decided to spend a few more $ and get the model that can handle everything I'll conceivably own. When it's time to do any work on my truck I'm glad I did.
