1969 Firebird (South GA) - This one will go fast

I don't know this person, and I don't know the history on the car, so don't message me asking about it.

That said, I found this car on FB Marketplace. I was going to buy it, but it's just not the best timing. For someone looking for a good foundation, this looks like an amazing deal!

Contact Ryan. His number is two two nine nine two one one four zero five

The car comes with some extras. He's asking $25,000

I love those Weld S77 wheels! Wonder what drivetrain and suspension is under there.

It’s a Pontiac engine. 400. 455. Something like that. 400 transmission I think. Suspension looks stock.

Stock suspension and 400/455 with a th400....25k is fair. Not really a steal at that price...the firebirds are far behind the camaros in 1st gen flavor.

It's doesn't look like a great deal to me.

My money says it's still for sale in a month. It's been for sale since at least September 13th.
The text of the ad is "Or trades, OBO".

The seller is in Cleveland, GA, which is 80 North of Atlanta.

His FB pages states the car has the elusive 455 big block. No under hood pics(my money says yeller plug wires, an MSD box and a "caution fan" sticker.

A 455 is far less desireable than a 400. For example most people build a 461 stroker out of a 400 block. The larger main journals on the 455 tend to cause spun main bearings problems, plus the thickness of the cylinder bore is a problem due to core shifts since they are thin to begin with at that bore size.

I'm looking for a complete body and interior 69 Firebird for my soon to be wife, but I don't want any engine, trans, rear, suspension, or fancy wheels. So this one is too rich for my blood.
