      Newb 79 Firebird Build

Just bought a 1979 firebird with a 1970 front end w/ T tops. Will be going under the knife immediately. It has a built 71 400 that has an estimated 450HP. I am installing a holley sniper EFI system on it and leaving it alone for now. Plans are for a ridetech or Speedtech full coilover conversion, big brakes, better steering box and Forgeline wheels. I will be swapping the twin nostril hood for a Shaker style painted black and blacking out all the trim. Car currently in my signature and here is my inspiration

Heck yeah, nice to have another Firebird here! I just got my '79 on the road after a full rebuild over the past couple of years. Let me know if I can help out with anything!
