      1970-73 firebird suspension v 1974+

      Forgive the newbie question.

I purchased a Hotchkis tvs system for my 1975 Trans Am. I have since purchased a 1972 model and notice that the part numbers are different for the 72 bird and the 75. Can anyone tell me exactly what the differences are between a 72 and 75 bird for aftermarket suspension parts? TIA

The lower control arms used 1/2" bolts on the early 2nd gens and the later ones were 9/16", change was made mid year '73. The body mount on the rear of the subframe changed position so Hotchkis frame connectors for a 75 will not fit the 72.
