      Sc&c

I hate having to post this, but has anyone talked to Marcus recently?

5 calls and 6 emails over the last 2 months to inquire about my order that I have not received. Billed right away and not received. I called SPC direct to find out if the Arms were back ordered. They are not and they don't show ever getting my order.:(

Unfortunately I've seen this on several forums. He has a ton of knowledge but not worth the hassle. Everything he sells is available through other vendors.

Well this is conflicting for sure.. No issues on my first order with him. He did a great job helping me sort out my decisions on the phone. Again why I hate to post this. I used his online ordering this time around after talking with him.

I would prefer to resolve this with him but If I can't get ahold of him after 2 months not sure what I'm left with. Dispute the charge with the CC company?

Hope he didn't get covid or something like that but from what SPC told me he put in other orders as late as Aug 27th.

I started the process of disputing the charge with the CC company:(

Now I need to figure out what to order and from who.

Everything you ordered from him should be available from other vendors. Summit probably has most of it.

I'm not finding it very easy at all. Summit has SPC arms but not spec'd out the same and offer no options. Not sure if the arms come with BJ spacers. The summit ones come with rubber bushing and I want the delrin, Summit comes with BJ (stock I assume), SC&C arms have 4130 cross shafts. I know all the parts on the SPC arms can be made to order. And the SC&C were just slightly cheaper.

Not sure if I should go with Howe BJ still anymore or use the ProForged BJ I have. Mostly concerned with the articulation angle and I don't know if he used .5 tall Ball Joints or not. I assume he did.

Summit doesn't seem to carry VariShock at all either.

      :(

There are a lot better shocks out there than Varishocks imho.

Seem like the most subjective automotive part you could discuss.

I’ve had them. One failed. Once you see that little plastic gas filled bladder you’ll just shake your head. Very outdated design imho....

JRI and ridetech. Both are good shocks in my experience.

On my 64 GTO I ran SPC springs and Bilstein shocks. The ride was very good.

Contact SPC directly (their customer service is great) to get model #'s on what you want, then do a Google search for a vendor who has them in stock.

Nick I used to say the same thing but he has screwed a lot of people lately.. He is having some kind of issue.

Too bad too. I have there Stage III set up on my 69 el Camino. Its a dream come true. He ordered me a custom box from Lee that is perfect. He asked me what kind of shape I was in to make sure it wasn't too hard to turn, 30 pounds is perfect.. I love how it snaps back to center after turning even with only 1-2 degrees + caster but I use +8 castor with 1/4 degree negative camber. Toe in 1/32 1/32...

I will say, I always supported them and sent people their way until recently. I emailed them several times, only received one reply from my first email. My business went elsewhere, Chadwick at Speedtech was flawless to deal with.

Have you checked with Matt Gosset @ Matts Classic Bowties? He's always been good at getting me what I need. https://mcbparts.com/
