Pro Touring 70 Chevelle from Spartanburg, SC

Hello everyone...Kyle here from Spartanburg, SC. I've been a member here for a while, mostly buying and selling cars and parts. This thread I wanted to share with everyone my "keeper" car, which I've been working towards for a long time.

This 70 Chevelle was built in New Jersey and also LS swapped by Speed Inc in Chicago. I acquired it out of San Diego, and have spent 6 months making it "mine". I'll outline the build details, and then bore you with all the pics!

      Exterior...
      Jet Stream Blue C6 paint
      All original sheetmetal
      Rushforth Livewire 19/20
      Spoilers by Randy
      Functional cowl hood

      Drivetrain...
      LS2/Magnum T56
      Driveshaft Shop Driveshaft
      411 PCM and PSI Harness
StainlessWorks LTs and custom tigged Pypes exhaust
      Tanks Inc tank

      Chassis...
      Wildwood brakes
      SPC uppers and lowers
      ABC Coilover conversion
      Viking double adj coilovers
      Hellwig swaybars

      Interior...
      GTO Seats
      Fesler door panels
Alien enclosures trunk kit, console, package tray
      Full Pioneer sound system
      Power windows
      Retro/stock style gauges

I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but itll still be a work in progress. Plans are for a roots style blower, bigger cam, and whatever else I decide as i own the car! Any suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Great looking car! Looks like it's setup very well. I'd keep it too! I like it the way it is but I would like to see it with silver stripes that tied in with the front spoiler and the wheels a little bit. Might make it a little richer.

Great looking car Kyle. Hopefully, I'll get to see it in person one day...I live in Simpsonville (originally from Spartanburg).

Awesome car. Wish I would have found one like this condition and did what you said and make it mine. I'm so deep in my Camaro that I could have bought 2 for the price of one. Live and learn!
But. It will be mine lol

Looks great, except for three little things -

      1. Doesn't look right without the SS bumper pad on the back bumper.
      2. I've always painted the radiator and other parts behind the grill a flat black as well, because shiny behind the grill distracts from the grill.
      3. That silver airdam up front looks out of place. Were it mine I'd either paint it blue to match the car to make it part of the car, or chrome plate it to make it part of the bumper. As it is, it looks like an after-thought added on later.

Just my opinion though. If you like it as it is, you're the one who has to be happy. This is just what I'd do.

Thanks! I have a bumper pad, just gotta get an extra hand to install it. Very good comment about the radiator, I'll think on that!

My idea with the spoiler was to match the brushed spokes on the Rushforths...but painted would look nice. Itd also chip very easy I think. So I'm torn on that...

Yea, PPF is paint protection film, aka clear bra. It's the nerdy way to say it....I own a detail shop (hence the pics) so that's how we talk lol
