      T56 Magnum slave cylinder measurements

I have a 5.3ls, QuickTime bellhousing, and the magnum. I’m using an 02 fbody slave cylinder. My question is who has used the Holley shim kit because my measurements of .515 are saying I need to use the .197, and .119 shims together to bring it to the edge of acceptance of .200, which is what I’m getting. Clearance range is .125-.200. I also have another shim that is .059 but I don’t know if I should use it or not. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It all depends on the flywheel and clutch you are using. If you did the measurements correctly, and you need shims, use shims.

I’m using a single clutch from silver sport. My second question is though, should I use the third shim to bring my measurements to .145 or just run the .200 measurement that I’m at.

I think .200" is a good number. As the clutch disk wears, that gap will close.
