Thanks brother, the little cleanup work always takes the longest for sure. The body is purely driver, nothing to write home about at all but the car is very special to me and I like the fact that I can park it, walk away and not worry about people scratching or dinging it

      Thanks guys.

I put some Rocket Wheels on it and the interior out of a BMW 650i which turned out to be quite the chore. Reinforcing the floor for the built in seat belts and wiring was quite fun. In the end the seats were well worth it and make it so much more comfortable to drive on my frequent 7 hour round tripsName: 20200902_164201.jpg

      Very cool!

If you don’t mind me asking, did you convert the TR6060 to slip yoke?

When you switched over to the BMW integrated seatbelt seats, how did you reinforce the floor? I converted an 87 S10 ext cab to use CTS seats that had the same integrated seatbelt design, only on that one I had to have a new custom floorpan installed to accommodate the seats as they would not fit on the stock pan. I was always nervous about whether or not the seats would hold in an accident. What I wound up doing was using a piece of 2in angle iron for the rear seat mounting bolts on the underside of the floorpan that stretched the length of the seat side to side, extending past the seat bolts by a couple of inches on either side. I don't know if the original fender bolts would have held, but later on when the truck was totaled in an accident (40MPH impact) the seats held up just fine and the floor showed no sign of deflection or damage around the mount points or around the seat area.

3" wide 1/4" plate extended under structure points and each side to the frame

wasn't happy with he 650 rear seats so I slapped in some from a BMW M5. Little welding and the fit in without much fanfare. I still have to make filler panels for the edges and redo the rest of the interior panels in black but I think it will look pretty good when doneName: 20200913_163854.jpg

I know this is an old thread, but those seats look amazing!! I like the head rests too on the fronts! I will never understand the removal of head rests in some of these builds? I think it looks bad w/o a head rest but more importantly its a safety issue!!
