      Led gauges stock dimmer

I have LED gauges in my 68 Firebird but I want to use my stock dimmer switch on my lights and not a 0-10k potentiometer. Is there something else I could put inline so I can use my dash dimmer switch and not the potentiometer?

This...https://www.protizmo.com/Store/AILD-1/ You'll have to modify the headlight switch to isolate the rheostat from the tail light switch section. It needs the rheostat isolated to work. Disconnect switch, look at terminals. There should be a copper or brass jumper that connects the rheostat to the tail light section. A dremel tool or small die grinder bit will cut right through with minimal damage to the switch. The protizmo unit has five connections: power in (tail light), ground, power out, and 2 for the rheostat. The unit will dim both LED and incandescent bulbs. The unit works.
      Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping there would be something like a diode I could put inline. I guess I will live with it until it bothers me.
