      Bosch Motorsport ABS

Who has installed the Bosch ABS kit into their ride? Are any vendors providing kits specific to a 69 Camaro and providing installation support?

I'm also looking at the Teves MK60 as a lower priced alternative.

Looking at it for C5/C6 spindles, StopTech 14" 6 pistons (4 rear), Hydroboost.

      Thanks

I have a Teves MK60 in both my '68 Camaro and '55 Bel Air. I have yet to wire or power them up but I have them and C6 bearings around all.

I am not aware of anyone offering kits yet. Due to the liability I doubt that we will ever see that.

That's a shame, liability shouldn't even be involved considering all that we do to our cars and how we use them.

Would you be willing to share your 68 Camaro MK60 parts list with me? Either here or via PM? I'm just looking for all of the P/Ns I need to buy to start making this happen.

      Thanks!!

In also have a teves mk60 in my car, although the car isn’t drive able yet so no feedback yet. I’ve found this link to be very helpful. I forget where I read this, but if I recall, the corvette wheel speed sensors are not the same signal as the e46 bmw sensors.

I have a friend also building a car with the mk60 and he claims that there is an aftermarket module that can be put in the standard e46 m3 abs pump to convert it to the M3 csl calibration.

just out of curiosity, why the hydroboost? The mk60 monitors brake pressure at the master... I would think it may be easier to induce the abs in unwanted circumstances with the higher line pressures of hydroboost. Typically it’s easier to modulate threshold braking and stay out of abs with a manual setup. Until I really get mine out on a track, My only expectation is for this unit to keep me from flat spotting expensive tires.

Whats the benefit of this system vs. a C5 Vette system that is also stand alone?

It seems like there’s a little more support for the teves unit

the MK60 is far more adjustable than a c5 system. If you are looking for something for the street, the C5 system will be just fine. If you want ABS on track, the MK60 is your ticket. I used to Race a c5 and can tell you the ABS system on 315 hoosiers had no idea what it was doing. I used it in the rain only...

I have a few friends with MK60's on their bimmer IP and GTS cars and they love it. They can dial it in to just before brake lockup and most have told me its worth looking into it for my Camaro.
