Which cross member to use? Limited options.
Bit of a dilemma here. I have a cross member that works but ordered another one to get some additional exhaust clearance. Problem is a 69 Impala (everything but convertible) has an open channel frame and wider cross member. I can cut down the new one to fit, which is easier than fabricating something or just live with the one I've never been quite happy with.
It's quite a bit more substantial but do I really gain any benefit here other that being able to tuck the exhaust up another inch?
