      Dipstick side swap?

On a Chevy small block is it possible to swop the dipstick side?

Due to the fact that the block itself has provisions for the dipstick tube on the left side , I would have to say no.

It is absolutely possible. Plug the block provision and fab a tube slot onto the oil pan where you have room for it. You can use an Lokar or similar dipstick that is flexible and can be customized for proper length. If you're not a welder, a local shop can probably do the fab work pretty cheap.
