Just finished laying down dynamat extreme. Now what?

I have nearly all trunk, cabin, inside and outside of doors, and in quarters. I see they have a product called Dynaliner and DynaPad. Which one will be best for sound deadening? I’ve read DynaPad is better but what are you all using and how has the product changed the sound inside the car? My exhaust is loud and hoping to quite the interior. Thx

Just finished laying down dynamat extreme. Now what?

I used both dynaliner and dynapad. I used 1/2” dynaliner on the floor pan from the fire wall to the rear seat/trunk divider. I used dynapad at the divider to separate the trunk from the interior of the car. I also used dynapad on the trunk floor. The dynaliner is nice because it has an adhesive back (peel and stick). The dynapad will need an adhesive to stick. There is a noticeable difference between the dynaliner and dynapad. Dynapad is much heavier. I’m pleased with my results. But in hindsight, I may have used dynapad on the floor pans instead of dynaliner.
