      Tremec trans id

Looking at Tremec trans identification and I can't confirm if it's a Tr3550 or TKO.

      Trans Tag say Tr3550
      Part Number 2600882

I'm pretty sure it's a TR3550 which sucks cause its low torque trans.

Anybody have any ideas what the part number is.

      Thanks

      I think you’re right. Could the one “8” be a 6?

Thanks Dale. I'll have to recheck that tag. Hard to get a good picture of it. New motor makes more torque than this trans can handle. Sucks as its a great trans and it fits in the tunnel without any cutting.

Looks like I'll be putting a TR3550 in the classified ad.

Since it has the 2600### part number it is the first series TKO design, the second series part numbers all begin with the TCET prefix.
