      Getting rid of rust

I’m restoring my Camaro 68 and have disassembled all of the interior. The car is in good shape but there are some surface rust. I’m wire-wheeling/sanding it away but there are spaces (inside doors for example) that are impossible to reach.
Will a 2k epoxy primer seal the rust and make it inert or am I just camouflaging a problem?

      Thanks!

I prefer to use cavity wax in those places. Wicks and stay flexible.

Thanks Don, does that stir the existing rust from growing?

It keeps water and oxygen away from it. A little surface rust that took 50 years to form is nothing to get too worked up over imho. It should last another 50 if cleaned and sealed with cavity wax. Most of our cars rarely see rain let alone road salt etc....

You could always use something like a rust encapsulator or rust converter depending on your location.

Thanks smee, will use some Eastwood encapsulated in the areas “impossible” to reach!
