      Fast cure urethanes are the usual professional product these days, though your basic slower dry caulk tube sized windshield urethane will give the same result the next day. There are also black primers do darken the glass so the sun doesn't rot the urethane, as new car glass comes with dark edges.

      I know Rad Rides has gotten windshields that are silica coated "lexan" in the past.

      so I lve the look I am building my car now 1 quarter tirmed off new one fit new roof set on no welding as of yet , shaving off rain gutters '.
