3rd Brake Alternative - Dual Lit Tail Light Supplement

Throughout my searches, I never found a third brake light location that really worked for me aesthetically. It either looked wrong or just plain out of place. When I originally wired the car, I installed provisions for a 3rd brake light, but never implemented it.

My tail lights were standard LED retrofits, plenty bright, but I was looking for something else to add to it. I came up with what you see in the video.

What you see in the video is my standard LEDs that are now supplemented with LED halo rings that I found on eBay. The halos are tied to a "back-off" style third brake light flasher that gives the flashes before going solid.

It's not quite a third brake light, but perhaps you'll see something here that will work for your project.

I like it Mike! My Sierra has the "back off" flasher on the 3rd brake light above the back window and it really gets your attention!
