      1973 Camaro Road Race/Autocross Car

      1973 Camaro titled in my name
      Originally built and raced in NASA AIX by Jake’s Rod Shop.
      All custom fiberglass body panels except tail panel
      LS7 with Mahle forged pistons,Texas Speed ported and fixed stock heads, Texas Speed Cam. ARP main studs, rod bolts, head bolts. Ported FAST intake, 105mm Holley TB. Custom 2” Tri-Y headers and 3.5” exhaust. Jerico road race trans, 2.21,1.44,1.17,1.00 with quartermaster magnesium reverse mount bellhousing. Brand new 7.25” Quartermaster clutch. ATI fuel cell with internal fuel pump and bucket.
      Holley HP EFI, Holley 7” digital dash.
      Baer 6R brakes front and rear, Wilwood triple master setup. Custom built CCW wheels 18x11-18x13 with 315 and 335 Rivals.
      Has stock floor pans to behind front seats.
      Jakes Rod Shop subframe and torque arm with Watts link. 9” Howe full floater with nascar locker with lightened gears and lightweight springs. Bilstein double adjustable shocks front and rear.
      Nascar style cage, Sparco Evo II seats

      Jake’s Rod Shop in Maine built the car originally and he made all the fiberglass molds. He still has them.

      If I am not mistaken Jake took a SCCA championship with that car... its was originally his race car and test car.. sold to Vinny as well as Destroyer his Gen 1.. Vinny went to IROC and then to a C6.. Jake is a pilot now for an airlines.. last I heard.. GLWS I will say one thing that suspension flat out works..
      PS Destroyer the Gen-1 now has a NRE twin turbo in it..
      From a place you will not see comes a sound you will not hear....

      No, this car would have been built a couple years before that one. I’m not sure what events that car competed at. Similar style for sure though.
