      Thank you.
Throttle bodies are electric and both run to my Holley Dominator controller.

You can run a Holley and do a stand alone TCM for your transmssion and get all your input for trans off the CAN line?

I sincerely hope that to be the case. I really want to do an LS3 based 427 backed by an 8 or 10 speed transmission. The new transmissions already have a standalone computer in them, they just need input from the ECM. A harness place claimed that the Gen 4 engine computer should be able to interface with a Gen 5 transmission and they were working on a harness to do just that, but they also said it's not working yet. I sent them an email and am waiting on a response. If their system can talk to the new transmissions then this system will solve all my problems. Otherwise I may be stuck with a 6 speed auto and a single throttle body.

Thanks for this, I'll post their response here either way.

EDIT - Well this sucks. They don't interface with anything beyond a 4 speed transmission. They don't even work with 6 speed autos. Oh well...

Went from a running car to all apart and off to paint in 7 hours. Sure wish it went together that fast.

      DSe update

      Thank you.
Yes had it running and on the road.
It's built so my wife can drive it, it's a beast.
      Sent it to paint.
I have until Friday to pick the color.
      -Lemas Blue with While Z28
-Hugger Orange with White Z28 stripes.
      -Graphite Gray with black stripe.

Thoughts? I think I might sell the car.

Man that engine is a dream setup. Just out of curiosity why did you switch over to the T56 Magnum from the TR6060, ease of packaging the shifter?
My vote is for the graphite w/ black stripes

After many hours under the car, I got the bottom sealed and tint-able bed liner body color sprayed on rotisserie.
Hope to paint firewall this week and then make the car a roller and paint the car soon.

You sure build some beautiful quality cars!
I'm partial to the gray and blue, but you can't go wrong with any of those three colors!

      Thank you.
Should be painted and rolling again by the end of the week.
Since I went with gray I just ordered all new Black hinges and billet parts and will swap out the polished ones.

      The day has finally come.
      She is painted.
Now I am on the fence it looks so good solid color or should I add black Z28 stripes of black hokey stripe or leave it solid??
      Any thoughts?

I wrestled with that on my car also. There are so many camaro with the stripes so I like the solid color. Sometimes I think the stripes take away from the color. That is a beautiful color

I would keep it all solid, and then experiment with any stripe you want using vinyl. You could change the look of your car every year!

Love the base color, can't wait to see it all assembled!

Are you doing a cowl hood or a flat hood? SS stripe it with a cowl hood. No cowl, no stripes.

I had to run a factory cowl hood.
I tried a flat or SS hood but it wouldn't clear the turbo piping.

I think leave it solid and if I want Black stripes down the road like suggested try them in vinyl.

I hope to wet sand out next week then re install motor and trans.
I am also changing all billet parts to black and will be selling all the polished parts.
