Had two in the last 6 years for a couple of reasons. The worse is the prep. No worries everything is good.
I had a 68 Firebird 40 years ago with a similar wheel and tire combo. Drove it thru a number of MN winters. I think the air shocks improved traction?
Amazing we made thru those days.

The years I wish were still around. My 23 year old son often tells me he should've been around in the '60's and '70's. I know. Yep, the prep sucks!

Why anyone would think that age has anything to do with understanding protouring is a mystery to me. Complete nonsense imho....

      Post chaps me....

Why TF do you think Pro-Touring is difficult for us old farts to understand? I'm 66 and yes I have had a number of colonoscopies and I also ran Cragar SS wheels back in the day, but I can also still kick butt on track whenever I choose. I'm with Don, this post chaps me too!

It’s dumb. I agree. Doesn’t bother me tho. Heck look at Freiburger - he builds some cars as pro touring and others with old school cragars. It’s all good.

I don’t think this is something the mods should be posting - but they seem to post a lot of nonesense so I don’t get all what’s behind all that personally. So I ignore it mostly.

When I bought my 73 240Z, I worked on the suspension, brakes, etc so I could be competitive at Lime Rock doing Time Trials. I was. I guess for an old fart, pro-touring was alive before the label started being tossed around. The OP is sadly off the mark. And, I'm 71 years young.

Truth be told. I didn't post that but thought I would see how it went over.

I added the ability to copy what I post on our Facebook page to also be posted on the forum.

This was posted on Facebook by someone and somehow it made it to the forum.

I think its time to close the thread.
