      Rear brake conversion 87 c10

I haven’t been on here in a very long time. I sold my 86 back in 06 and just got an 87 in Oct. I remember seeing lots of good info on rear disc conversions using parts from other model GM vehicles. Anyone still around that can share some insight to get this done without sending $800+ to Willwood?

I have acquired 94-96 Impala/Caprice rotors (11.610") and 93-97 F-Body rear calipers (1.575" pistons), but have not yet fabricated the brackets. The F-Body calipers apply the e-brake as well, which is good.

There is a fellow on the 67-72chevytruck forum called CaptainFab who makes and sells brackets. He might even be on here....

Captain fab brackets are good, but I chose to go this route Little Shop MFG on my 68 C10 that has been converted to 5 lug. The kit comes with the rotors and the calipers. With the Captainfab kit you have to source your own rotors and calipers. My kit went together without any issues, all fit as it should and I would purchase again.
