I see the foil tape you used, but what is the actual sound deadening material?
The foil is from the hardware store (heating and cooling), I found the sound deadening sheets at an audio supply store on-line. It's dense, and once it's down, it's down. Does a real nice job!

More updates on the 69 "re-do". With the installation of the DSE sub, LT4 and Holley mounts...I had to make a bit more room in the trans tunnel for the T-56 and shifter. Fabbed up a new "pocket" for the shifter to live in.....almost time to repaint the underside and start some assembly....

Setting up the air gap on my throw out bearing, I needed to move the bearing out. The solution was a machined spacer from Mantic Clutch USA. MUCH better than the stacked spacers...... the machined spacer, properly locates the bearing over the input shaft. Getting closer to getting the DSE sub / engine back in the car.

Looking good! What are you doing for brake lines up front? Just making your own?

Thanks John, I'm bending all new brake lines myself, 3/16" front and rear. Do you have a build thread on your car?

Thank you for the feedback...... Trying hard to get it back on the road this summer, the whole Covid thing is slowing the process :( (parts).
