      Dakota digital gauge issue

Good evening, I have an 85 cutlass that had a 5.3 and working Dakota digital gauge cluster. I swapped out the 5.3 for an ls3 and the same gauge cluster. Everything but the engine and ecu remained the same. I have switch power, constant power and ground, but my gauges do not work. No led on the controller either. Everything seems to be plugged in as before. Any ideas

Did you connect batt, ign and ground to the control panel?

Batt, ign and ground are to the controller, the cat 5 cable is attached to the controller and the gauge.
