Thanks I did find that, it didn't click right away that the magnums don't come with the pump already.

I have about 650hp and I don't run a cooler. I have had it on the road course with constant high RPMS and the biggest issue I have had was the diff puking and the PS pump reservoir melting. I think it would be best to have one, but I haven't done it yet.

I'm right around 550hp and no cooler on my T56 Mag. I have never experienced any transmission related problems at any track day event but it is something I have thought about. I did add a NASCAR style oil pump and cooler to my 9" rear end which stopped that from puking oil.

I like the idea of cooling both my transmission (T56 Mag) and rear diff (12 bolt floater with proper venting). It is good to know some options if either or both are needed. That will be determined once I start using the car this year and see what happens.

The pump is manufactured by TEX Racing which is now G-Force South. The pump is mounted to the center section directly in line with the pinion shaft and requires machining on the housing as well as the end of the pinion gear. My center section is a surplus NASCAR unit which already had the machine work done on the housing but I needed to have a drive hex machined into the end of the pinion gear. You can buy a used surplus pump or G-Force South can sell you the pump and do all the machine work in one stop. If you want to buy the pump used you can contact one of the surplus NASCAR parts sources in Mooresville, NC. such is https://www.sriperformance.com/Used-...arts-s/108.htm The pump pictured below is an older style.
