Thank you very much. Originally when i started thinking about this, I was going to back half my truck and put a 9" under it and go for a boosted LS. This escalated quickly lol.

Well I started on something different last week. The chassis is coming along nicely, so we will soon be placing the cab. Once the cab is on, we need to place the motor. In order to place the motor, I need an oil pan. I decided a while back that I will be going with a 5 Stage dry sump setup on this project. 4 Scavenge stages, one pressure stage. There will be 3 scavenge stages to the pan, and one scavenge stage dedicated to the turbo drains. Having a dry sump allows me alot of options.

      1. Better oil control, wont run the sump dry on hard 60ft hits
      2. Short profile oil pan that allows the engine to sit 3" lower (better CG)
      3. Higher Oil capacity (2.5 Gallons)
      4. You can now low mount turbos because you can directly scavenge the oil to the tank. (Better CG)

LTx dry sump oil pans are currently all made by very high end manufactures. Most are billet and $1200+. Soooo. I made on.

      3/16" Steel Flange
      16" Pan
      -12 AN Scavenge ports

I plan on running inline scavenge filters to protect the pump.
Ill need to get the inside of the pan blasted with walnut or something to remove the chances of any scale popping loose and hurting the oil pump.

I got my front sway bar setup installed. It's a speedway engineering setup. 1.25" x .250w" bar, 33" long. Using their steel arms. As you can see in the video... they weren't perfectly plug and play for my mounting style. The center of the bar was over sized so I could not pass them through the bearing. I ended up turning them down. Now everything is mounted up and working great. My buddy Logan bent up the arms for me on his 400T press.Name: 20200512_172219.jpg

looks like a Guibo. Is that an overdrive or 1:1?

BTW, Andrew turned me on to your build. Really like it.

Thanks alot! This is a S65 V8 configured DCT, so it will be the 1:1 7th gear.
Looking at running a 2.85 rear gear with a 335/30/19 rear tire.

I really like the 1:1 top gear. It should be very quiet, plus having a high rear end gear will keep the driveshaft RPM way down.

Got the front coilover mounts on the chassis welded in. They have flanges at the top that will tie into the from cage assembly. Happy with how the turned out.

Also made the tie rod adapters for the front end. Should be plenty beefy.

Just watched it today! Good stuff. I'm totally going down the DCT rabbit hole! It would be awesome to make it work in my Cougar.
