      Torque arm with leaf springs?

Since I can't run CalTracs due to my GW cat5 spherical leaf spring bushings (the Caltracs front box won't fit over the wider bushing), it occurred to me that maybe I could run a torque arm to reduce axle wrap in a drag race scenario as a compromise.

What are the gurus thoughts on this? Ditching leafs isn't in the cards for me but I would like to have every advantage I can get in a straight-line race.

      Thanks!

BMR suspension makes what you’re looking for. Bolts right up to 1st/2nd gen rear ends.

Sweet, I'll check out their site. I need it from a T56 Magnum to a Ford 9" on a 69 F-body so I presumed I would need to weld some brackets on. Would be sweet if their TQ arm is available with front and rear driveshaft loops too.

Update: Looks like they only make it for a 10 and 12 bolt.

we make a 9" Kit but it uses a specific Strange Engineering Housing that we weld our connecting pieces to. Our Torque Arm Kits do not have Safety Loops

Yeah I'm not wanting a kit as you sell them, with the trailing arms. I'm just looking for someone that makes just a center torque arm setup. You sell that too, but not for the 9".

Just for grins, may want to get a copy of the Mustang Performance Handbook Book 2 by Mathias

      https://www.amazon.com/Mustang-Perfo.../dp/1557882029

Speaks on how to build your own torque arm. May be worth buyin' just for the read
