      New spindles.

After a couple years of rounding up a large enough market to validate tooling and manufacturing, PTFB is proud to finally be able to bring to market a new spindle based on the GM 12"B-body spindle that is increasingly difficult to find.
This will allow enthusiasts to effectively upgrade their brakes using off the shelf parts as well as any currently available aftermarket brake kit.
Of course some improvements have been made over the stock GM units.

Tensile strength is 20% better than GM parts.
Steering arm is altered to improved ackerman angle and speed up the steering.
      Utilizes stock type B-body 12" rotors or 88-92 F-body 1LE rotors.
Built in D52 caliper bracket, we will also offer the spindles ready to mount after market brakes.
      Direct replacement for 70-81 F-body, 77-96 B-body.
utilizes the larger SET3 outer bearings.
      Built in steering stop.
      High gloss black coating finish

      FUTURE plans:
      Tall G-body spindles.

PRICING WILL BE $389.00/Pair for D52 caliper version and $429.00/Pair for the aftermarket brake version.

So do you have a version that accepts a factory second gen spindle or kits that use that bolt pattern ?

Not really understanding the question, do you mean rotor? if so the answer is no but the 88-92 1LE 12" rotor is 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern.

      New spindles.

No I meant caliper. Doing too many things this afternoon so that was a typo.

A version with a stock second gen caliper bolt pattern and the bigger bearings would be interesting

This is exactly what this spindle does, it uses the GM D-52 caliper which is what was used on second gen F-bodies and many other GM cars.

this spindle even allows the larger B-body D-52 to be used in conjunction with a C3 12 x 1.25 rear rotor and a hub Wilwood makes an aluminum hub that positions the C3 rotor properly.

I'm working on a bracket to use the C5 rotor with the D-52 caliper, the C5 caliper only has two 1 5/8" pistons the Wilwood D-52 has two 2" pistons a significant increase in clamping force.

I have a StopTech kit designed to use the stock 2nd gen mounting pattern with some modifications to the spindle. So it’s not your typical setup. It would require some engineering to adapt it for use on these spindles and with the ST hubs.

      But could be worth it.

no it would not be any different, this spindle uses stock 78-81 A6 inner and A3 outer wheel bearings so you use a hub for a 78-81 F-body, we can provide the spindle ready for YOUR bracket.
If you have a brake kit made for a 2nd gen it will fit.
