New wheels on my 67 project.

Long time build. 5 years ago, he’ll, maybe longer. I bought 17” TT and dropped it off the jack stands and the friggin front tire rubbed the wheel well. I threw the wrenches down and walked away. A few years ago I was at the street rod nationals in Columbus oh. And came across Rocket Racing wheels and they had some better “stock” offsets. Finally got around to ordering them
18x7 with 4.5” BS and a 235/45 on the front. The rears are 18x9 with 5.25 BS with a 275/40. They fit perfectly and no rubbing. Maybe this will kick me in the ass and get it done.

First picture is with the 17’s with zero offset.

I realize they are not for everyone but I’m just glad there is no rubbing. Just wanted to share.

Tighten it till it strips & back it off a quarter turn.

Looks awesome! I love the white, makes it look super clean and the gray centers on the wheels give it a retro touch. Now get that car finished and drive it!
